6-Hour Mini-Camp in New Jersey
Come to NJ and work with both Alexa and me for 6-hours over 2-3 days. If you have playing footage or specific questions, we’ll ask for that beforehand, so we have a better idea of what to work on going in. (We can also set this up if you’re local.)
- 6 hours total
- $1000/person
Lessons typically have two kinds of learning – technical and integration. Alexa and I run a two-court lesson where, on my court, you work on the technical side, and on her court, the integration side. For example, with me, you might be doing a kinesthetic drill. Maybe a hand-toss, slow feed, or shadow work drill in order to unlock new sensations for the first time. Once a new sensation is unlocked, we want to start the process of integrating that into our full game and habituating it.
You switch over to Alexa’s court for rallying, hitting patterns, points – tennis that is closer to match tennis than dead-ball feeding so you can feel where the concept works, and where it still felt elusive.
Then we iterate. You come back over with me, tell me how it went, and we refine for the next integration. Over the course of a 2-hour session, we’ll cycle through this process 3-4 times. Alexa and I will also chat about your tennis, both on-court while we’re training, and afterwords when drawing up the next day of work.
There will be one other student training at the same time, on the opposite court as you are. You’ll probably get along, since FTT students are all super nice people, but your lesson is mostly separate from theirs. (Some of you will already know each other from the SF trip!) If you’re of a similar level, we might have you rally or play points with them occasionally, so we can see the new concepts in action. Mostly, you’ll be training and rallying with Alexa and me, rotating opposite the other student who’s there at the same time.

Single-Coach Lesson Block
The above camp style is our favorite. It’s a unique experience for students that’s hard to find anywhere else, and gives us more insight into your tennis across the three days than we can get from the traditional lesson format. That said, you can also schedule 6-hours of traditional lessons with just one of us.
Same price: $1000/person
For all blocks, we do need to plan around weather, since we work outdoors.
